This course is specially designed for members of the Swedish Association of Corporate Lawyers, Sveriges Bolagsjurister. The position of board secretary is something that should be part of your job description as a corporate lawyer, and it often is. That’s why having up-to-date, enhanced skills in this area is crucial for you to succedd in your role. It also makes you a more attractive candidate in future board recruitments. 

Other board members can also find our training highly rewarding, since they can gain a better insight into how the board’s work should be managed. You will thus benefit from the course regardless of whether you are already working as a board secretary or whether you want to take on the role some time in the future.

Who will teach the course?

The course is led by Carl Svernlöv, lawyer at Baker & McKenzie, and Nina Axelsson, program director at Michaël Berglund Board & Leadership Services.

• Dealing with the unexpected – work on case studies that highlight the board secretary’s role as an advisor to the board

Food and venue

The course is conducted in modern, bright premises. In between sessions during the day you can enjoy a morning coffee or tea break followed by lunch and an afternoon break.

Diploma

After you complete the training, you will receive both a paper diploma and online copy as a receipt of your newly acquired knowledge and investment in the future.

You will also automatically become part of Michaël Berglund’s Board Network upon course completion, and receive future invitations to network meetings with different themes.
